The eBridge harnesses the power and flexibility of network interface cards (NICs) from Silver Spring Networks.
The eBridge equips your SCADA, distribution automation or outage management devices with Internet Protocol two-way radio. The eBridge has built-in serial and USB interfaces to integrate a wide variety of devices including capacitor bank controllers, circuit reclosers and a host of others, providing them with IPv6, IPsec and 256-bit encryption.
Easily making your device a part of the IP-based utility network from Silver Spring Networks, the eBridge connects to the UtilOS® network operating system for secure communications, automatic network discovery, network resiliency and device authentication. The eBridge contains the same NIC and firmware as all other Silver Spring Networks’ devices and automatically discovers any network in range.
