Once the first Access Point and networked end-point devices come online, the Network Operations Center can administer all aspects of network device management, including configuration, provisioning, monitoring and control.
Devices may also communicate via other network devices, including relays and Silver Spring Networks’ enabled electric meters. The IP-based network will make the addition of new devices and applications elementary while interoperability is ensured through open, secure protocols.
