Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is utilizing Silver Spring's technology for PG&E's SmartMeter™ Program to upgrade more than five million electrical customers in California. Silver Spring is providing advanced networking products, services, and operating software to support PG&E's long-term efforts. PG&E will initially focus on using Silver Spring's technology to support advanced metering and home networking applications.
